HORSE FARM

First there was a dream of Lapland. It was supposed to come true much later, but in life, big dreams are meant to be realized. So, in the middle of the coldest winter, with snow-covered pine trees bowing in welcome, the moving van was loaded up and headed south from congested Finland to Törmänen in Ivalo in February 2021. The adults continued their work at the Inari police station, and the school-age children fortunately slipped smoothly into the school world. Horses have been part of Sanna’s life since she was 7 years old, so it felt natural to share the opportunity to enjoy horses with others alongside her work.

STABLE

Gradually, however, horse riding activities grew, and eventually horse clubs and riding lessons for local children expanded into a full-time job. From the beginning, the activities have focused on children and families with children. The stable currently houses five horses and one Shetland pony. The yard has a lighted and fenced riding arena, approx. 20x40m, and comfortable trails for riders of all levels start directly from the stable yard. In addition to horses and people, our farm is home to two dogs and two guinea pigs.

Warmly welcome!
Best wishes, Sanna K.
