Riding tours
On all trips, the pace is adapted to the participants’ skill level. The trips lasting over an hour take place in the beautiful landscapes of Northern Lapland, through pine forests, on the slopes of fells, and across the swamps, following trails and snowmobile tracks.
30min leading rein. 35 €/person.
A short introduction to horseback riding for the youngest members of the family, where even the smallest rider can experience the atmosphere of trail riding. The route goes through the horse farm’s land, along paths and snowmobile tracks. The riding time is about 15-20 minutes.
1h trail riding. Summer 60 €/person, winter 80€/person.
Even the smallest rider can manage to sit in the saddle for this trail. With or without leading. The riding time is 35-50 minutes. Easy terrain.
2h trail riding. Summer 115 €/person, winter 130€/person.
A little more challenging ride on diverse trails. With or without leading. Riding time is 1.30 – 1.45 hours.
4h trail riding. Summer 210 €/person, winter 240€/person.
Halfway through the trip we stop at a wilderness cabin, where snacks and hot drinks are served by the fire. The riding time is approximately 2.5 hours.
6h full-day trail riding. Summer 320 €/person, winter 340€/person.
Stop at a wilderness cabin, where lunch is served and later a snack by the fire. The riding time is approximately 3.5 hours.
Trail riding and wilderness cabin overnight experience 900€/private trip, (1-4 person).
Set off on an unforgettable adventure into the wilderness of Lapland. Ride through peaceful landscapes to a remote wilderness cabin, spend the night surrounded by nature, and enjoy the silence, the warmth of a campfire, and a traditional sauna. In winter, marvel at the Northern Lights; in summer, experience the magic of the Midnight Sun. After breakfast, we ride back to the stable—refreshed and full of unforgettable memories.
What’s included in the price (full board):

Your only task is to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lapland.
If you like, you can help out and learn about caring for the horses, or even practice skills like lighting the sauna.
You may also book a wilderness chef to prepare an unforgettable campfire dinner (available for an additional fee).
The trip can also be arranged without horses, traveling by snowmobile sled.

Payment and Cancellation Terms:
Horseback riding trips must be paid for before the start.
– Free cancellation up to 4 days (96 hours) before the trip begins.
– If the service is cancelled 2-4 days (48-96 hours) in advance, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
– If the booking is cancelled 0-2 days (0-48 hours) in advance, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged, meaning no refund will be provided.
High Hill Horses Oy reserves the right to cancel trips if the temperature is at least -20°C, or if the weather conditions are such that it is unsafe or unreasonable to carry out the trip (heavy snowfall, wind, rain, storms, etc.). Trips can be carried out in temperatures below -20°C if both parties agree and accept it. The company has the right to change the riding route and the announced riding time based on weather conditions. If the conditions during the trip become dangerous for people or horses, High Hill Horses Oy has the right to interrupt the trip.
High Hill Horses Oy has valid liability insurance. Please make sure that you have your own valid insurance coverage before joining the trails (accident insurance, travel insurance, or similar).
